At Ellingham VC and Woodton Primary Federation we strongly believe in the importance of developing our pupils as a whole child.

Our aim is to create an exciting learning experience with a curriculum that reflects our core values.  We endeavour to inspire, challenge and nurture our children through a broad and balanced curriculum.

We cultivate a love of the environment through outdoor learning and Forest Schools, interweaving our curriculum with the natural world. We nurture the children’s natural curiosity in their surroundings which in turn grows a profound respect for the natural world.  Our children aspire to make their world a better place.

We want all children to experience the fullness of school life – developing their knowledge and understanding through a progressive and challenging curriculum.

Our curriculum is diverse, inclusive and engaging to our pupils. As small, rural primary schools we recognise that our children may not experience the full richness of diversity that society is comprised of.  Therefore, we include a wealth of opportunities for the children to learn and celebrate all backgrounds and traditions to fully prepare them for the world beyond our villages.

We aspire for all our children to leave our schools as resilient, responsible individuals with a range of experiences that define and encapsulate their time with us; experiences that remain with them as precious memories.

60 Things To Do

We created the "60 Things to Do" leaflet to capture just some of the experiences children have during their time at Ellingham CE VC and Woodton Primary Federation.
